'It’s secure, beautiful hotel lobby interior, and helpful, courteous staff. '

'Hotel ligt ingeklemd tussen een aantal snel- en hoofdwegen en een spoorweg, hetgeen een permanent lawaai oplevert, ook 's nachts. De kamer grensde bovendien aan een hal met vending machines, die de gehele nacht door zoemen, een aangrenzende liftmachinekamer zorgde ook voor nare geluiden. De kamer was wel erg ruim en netjes, voorzien van alle gemakken. Ook ligt het hotel gunstig ten opzichte van winkels en bezienswaardigheden, alles op loopafstand. Ontbijt was standaard zoals te verwachten, werd...

'Lovely hotel our room was dated but comfortable. The air conditioning REALLY worked. We couldn’t figure out how to turn it up. '

'We liked most things about this hotel. Nice view of the Sacramento River. Easy walk to Old Town Sacramento. Clean room. Very nice shower. Did not care much for the Pilothouse, the on site restaurant. Way overpriced for very plain breakfast. Bland eggs Benedict for $25 and $15 for a bowl of oatmeal that was nothing special. We will return to the hotel, though, for the beautiful and quaint accommodations and location. Just not the restaurant.'

'Sfeervolle kamers, prachtige lobby, een pand met geschiedenis bovendien! Overal hangen schilderijen van beroemdheden die hier ooit gelogeerd hebben. Ontbijt tot halftien moet je wel letterlijk nemen: om 9:20 was de koffie op, om 9:45 was de deur naar de ontbijtruimte op slot.'

'Op de kamer was de douche kapot. Bij ontvangst niet hartelijk ontvangen. Lange rijen voor alle service in het hotel en personeel die de taal niet spreekt. Housekeeping was wel erg goed. Hotel werdt ook gebruikt als toeristische attractie waardoor het soms moeilijk in en uit het hotel komen was. Geen persoonlijke service. '
