'Stayed at Retallack for 3 nights and really liked the setting, design and facilities of the room/studio. The location is a little remote, but that's part of the experience :-) The Surfsuite which we booked has a funny layout as you enter through the bedroom - as in the front door opens towards the bed. 'Beautiful position lovely sea view but the room was awful bathroom was like a Porta cabin we stayed in a twin room . The bathroom definitely needs a risk assessment done it was so small you knees touched the door when sitting on toilet also it was so small I nearly fell a few times definitely not for a person with any physical disabilities also floor very slippery Curtains were awful half hanging off hooks letting light into room really early Behind radiator was so dirty. 'A great starting point to visit Cornwall because the atlactic and southern coast lines as well as the western part of Dartmore National Park are reachable within an our (of so) by car. Jamaica Inn is sometimes crowded and busy probably because all sorts of people visit it, but the real pub fealing is always present. 'The hotel is in the perfect spot, right in the harbour. The room was massive and well equipped with a lovely view. The building is obviously extremely old which has its limitations on decor etc but we had an amazing time there. Would recommend.'
