'On the plus side the housekeeper was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was beautifully tiled but the fittings were not working as they should. We did mention that the sink plug stuck but it was still the same when we left. Breakfast was also excellent and could not fault the full English for quality and cooking. Only minuses are traffic noise - which is beyond the hotel’s control - but they are single glazed sash windows which we had opened because of the hot...

'On first inspection the room appeared cosy with equality fixtures and bedding, however the headboard was filthy and smelly. The bedside lights were full of dust. The carpet was grubby. The wardrobe door doesn’t shut The bar area carpet was dirty Table was covered in fly dirt. Food was poor.'

'we hebben drie nachten gelogeerd in Rising Sun Hotel. Prima hotel. Mooie gelegen in de heuvels van de Cotswolds. Vriendelijk personeel. Wij hadden een exclusieve kamer met hemelbed, en wel twee erkers met uitzicht over het dal. Een hotel met oud-Engelse uitstraling. Een aanrader! Voor een wandeling kun je direct achter het hotel de heuvels in, prachtig!!!'
