'Everything was clean, no issues. What I missed and was surprised not to have on the door to the room was a security chain or door guard. This especially so since the door to the room leads to the outside of the hotel and not to a hotel hallway. The hotel also uses keys which can be copied rather than the new systems which use codes. '

'Was given a barrier free access rm,.. due to the shower base being a zero curb style of a unit I managed to get more water on the bathroom floor then on myself - contain it within that stall, mopped it up with all the rm towels that I could. An interesting stay to say the least, no I’m not sure if I booked that rm by choice or if they were that full as I could only count like 3 cars in the parking lot, 1 being mine, Also front desk never asked or said anything upon check in… weird'

'Overall we had a wonderful stay. The inn had a nice charm with history. Loved that the marina was a 10 min walk to a beautiful view of Lake Superior. The continental breakfast was an added bonus.'

'It is an excellent location. The staff were all super helpful. It’s also convenient as it has a take-out restaurant, convenience store (that sells beer, wine, etc.) & a souvenir store. The beach & lake are literally across the road. Each morning we both received one of their famous apple fritters (made daily) and our choice of a coffee/tea/hot chocolate. We would definitely recommend staying here.'
