'We had an amazing stay. The staff is kind and will do everything to ensure you have a pleasant stay. We asked for a vegan breakfast, and the staff, since they weren't sure what we would eat, asked what we loved and ensured we got it. If you're vegan- just let them know in advance what you prefer (the supermarkets nearby have a lot of vegan products).

'We just LOVE this place. The area is very beautiful. The couple running this place are just the most sweetest people we met in Portugal so far, they are very loving, caring, helpful and they make you feel like home. We recommend to eat here too one night because they cook amazing too(and really not expensive for what you get!). 'Amazing and very cosy hotel.
It only has 3 rooms but that is the charme of this hotel.
In return you have a very relaxed morning with a good breakfast.
They use fresh ingredients for the breakfast and they don't use sugar.
The thing I liked the most (and I think that is also the nr1 reason to book here) is the amazing view over the Douro valley.
Marco and his wife Ana are very friendly and helpful. They also offer a great full day tour in the Douro valley with amazing lunch!

'We loved our stay at Peneda ecofarm. It is well located for walks in the National Park and only an hours drive from Porto's airport. There are several natural river pools to swim in with in a 30 minute drive of the accomodation. Which we were directed to by the owners.
Our room was modern and fresh with a lovely balcony. The air conditioning was great for night time. The breakfast and evening meals were carefully prepared and delicious with fantastic local vino verde.
