'Hot Springs pool and swim up bar sounded great but too many kids...didn't expect'

'Property was not downtown but still walkable to restaurants. Nice pool area and they actually had HOT hot tubs! The other places we went didn’t. So we were happy to sit in a hot one in the evenings. Clean and nice rooms. We were in building two with a perfectly clear view of the volcano! Bar upstairs was nice. Buffet breakfast was great, especially the omelette station for my son! Great place to stay in La Fortuna!'

'It's very nice to be able to get to the hot pools kind of straight from your room. The room though, called a "deluxe suite" is a regular room with two small chairs. The bathroom actually is very spacious. The restaurant is mediocre at best. Service was fine. '
