'A month living as Ticos in the Casa Amarilla - great people, beautiful location and reasonable price. We would recommend it for anyone looking for a long term rental in a quiet small town near La Fortuna. There are a multitude of entertainment activities in the area. 'The people running it were so nice and extremely helpful. We got set up with a guide to take us on a hike to a spectacular waterfall, and were told of other places of interest. The food was delivered hot to the house and was plentiful and good. It was odd that in the very well stocked kitchen, there was no silverware. We don’t know if there was no hot water or if we didn’t figure out how to use it. Some outside chairs would have been nice '

'This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane...

'The property is beautifully situated, comfortable and has everything one needs for a stay. The owners live on site and are very attentive and kind but not intrusive. It was well placed for exploring the Arenal area but be aware that the road from Nuevo Arenal is extremely pot holded and the 8 km takes 35 minutes to drive.'

'This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. This would be a very fun place for a group of friends as there was a big field to play in, tons of beds, and a big covered communal area to play games. 'Beautiful home and property. We were cared for very well by Rod and Tanya. I’ve been to Costa Rica several times and I have never seen so many Toucans! The only drawback was the last couple miles of road leading to the property was pretty rough. Thanks for everything!'

'What an amazing house! The views of Arenal are so breathtaking that it’s hard to capture in words. The house is stunning and is fully equipped with high end touches. Fresh flowers were in the kitchen and bathroom making it feel like a luxury hotel. The host took great care to get us situated and is so kind that we felt comfortable from the start. 'The owner was very responsive and helpful. He gave us advice on restaurants things to do in the area and how to get places. Everything he recommended was the best and spot on. It was a very authentic and comfortable house with everything you’d need. There were 3 twin beds, one queen and a couch that made to a twin so plenty of room for 6. 'The location is beautiful as advertised. Beautiful views and a nice club house with a pool. Great place to kick back and enjoy. Taniya is great to work with. Just make sure she has your cell so you can text back and forth. Only thing is to make sure the fans are in the living room. It can get a bit toasty. But the ac units in the bedrooms were amazing. 'This home was exactly what we needed, close to downtown La Fortuna yet away from the noise. The house has 2 bedrooms with doble beds and TV’s and one loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has hot/cold water and the host provides shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
