Excellent location in the center and good point to get everywhere. The breakfast is just great! 'De naam doet vermoeden dat het hotel aan een vulkaanmeer ligt maar in het eggie is het een groot stuwmeer waar je nauwelijks bij kunt komen. Niets interessants in de buurt, behalve het dorpje Nuevo Arenal, Postzegels zijn alleen in La Fortune, 60 km verder te verkrijgen. Verder vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en dat is ook wat waard.'
