'Clean and comfortable'

'This is an older hotel, so expectations should be par with that. Staff friendly and helpful. A/C is not "per room" but centrally controlled and was set at 66 degrees at night (too cold for me, but they did have plenty of blankets). The "free breakfast" is not at the location, but 4 blocks away at owner's diner. The food there was very good--ate both dinner and breakfast. The breakfast was truly excellent.'

The rooms were updated and very upscale in their furnishings including a new sink area that was located outside the toilet and bath area, which is a real plus for two people getting ready in the morning.
