'Best VRBO stay ever'

'House was very clean and well kept. Had issue with the code lock that owner assisted with. One of 4 “bedrooms” was an open upstairs loft and z as second was a bed in a living room space on lower level. 4 retired guys made it work but may bd an issue for some. House very well stocked. Quiet area on river. '

'I have done a lot of VRBO rentals and this house was the cleanest!!! Everything was perfection… comfy beds, beautifully stocked kitchen with spices, fresh coffee grounds, creamer and sweetener.. again, the cleanest kitchen, refrigerator, drawers, etc. In the bathrooms there are plenty of soft towels, full-size body wash, shampoo and conditioner… even special makeup remover wash cloths.The living room furniture was very comfortable. I loved this house and I will rent this place again!!'

'I came to Decatur for business and wanted a house where me and a coworker could stay together. This was a nice place, but could use a little work. The floors were not really clean and all of the beds are very creaky/squeaky. We really enjoyed the games that were provided (UNO) and the pool table was a great addition! Overall, I would stay here again if needed, if these issues could be fixed. '

'House was excellent! Kids loved the upstairs bunk beds and the adults loved the separate bedrooms. Plenty of bathrooms for everyone as well. The deck upstairs and the screened porch was also pleasant at night. Short walk to the dock and not a lot of traffic on the water makes it really nice. 10/10 would recommend. '

'The house was great, such beautiful views! The only issue we had at all was the air, it would default to high70s or 80s. Place was absolutely beautiful, stairs to dock a bit much, but that was expected for Smith Lake. Would definitely recommend staying here, Much better than we expected. Amazing time!'

'We had an amazing stay at this beautiful riverfront property! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this home was designed with relaxation and family fun in mind. The location is peaceful and scenic, with the river literally in the backyard. We especially loved the complimentary kayaks—paddling along the calm water was a highlight for both the adults and the kids.Inside, the home was spotless, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The game selection was fantastic, with board games...

'We absolutely fell in love with Smith Lake during our stay at Bill's place. The property was phenomenal and the house was amazingly stocked for a rental. Will definitely be back!'
