'Het was net of we in een Engels hotel binnen stapten, ergens in Zuid Engelenland,dat vonden we van de sfeer.Kamers gezellig ingericht, niet modern. Het diner was zeer goed, wit gedekte tafels en vriendelijk personeel.Niet goedkoop.bv wijn uit de buurt was prima maar prijzig. Heerlijk terras aan de rivier. Dichtbij het Redwood national en state parks.'

'Sfeervolle kamers, prachtige lobby, een pand met geschiedenis bovendien! Overal hangen schilderijen van beroemdheden die hier ooit gelogeerd hebben. Ontbijt tot halftien moet je wel letterlijk nemen: om 9:20 was de koffie op, om 9:45 was de deur naar de ontbijtruimte op slot.'

'We loved our time at the Gingerbread mansion. Oliva was an amazing host. Breakfast prepared each day was some of the best we have had. Snacks provided at tea time each day were also a big perk. The mansion was such a cozy experience. We loved our time spent at the mansion as well as exploring the town of Ferndale. Hiking and exploring the town made our time there very memorable. I fear future B&Bs may be ruined for me as this was my first time experiencing a true B&B experience and any future...
