'Apartment was quite pleasant. Clean, tidy and seemed comfortable. Unfortunately it was the noisiest place I’ve ever stayed in. Other residents were extremely loud, heels clattering upstairs, drunken shouting at all hours and the noise from the Main Street outside was nothing short of horrendous all night long so we had no sleep.'

'Een ruim appartement met een dubbele badkamer (douche en bad) waarin het goed vertoeven is. Wel een lawaaiige buurt omdat het plein beneden een bar heeft en als klankbord dient. Vooral in het weekend is er veel geschreeuw. Het tweepersoonsbed is wat smal en het veren matras doet mij aan mijn studententijd denken. Wifi is traag en niet altijd aanwezig. Wel heel vriendelijke receptionisten en alles binnen New Castle op loopafstand. Tikkeltje te duur.'

'Heerlijke eigen studio met royale voorzieningen en een eigen tuintje. Corbridge met winkels (waaronder de beknde COOP) en restaurants ligt aan de andere kant van de rivier Tyne. Dicht bij het staion.'

'Accurately advertised. You can literally see a mile castle on Hadrian’s Wall from your room. Beautiful country views. A problem with our heat was addressed immediately. Excellent dinner choices and service in the cozy pub. '

'We were lucky to find this alternative within one day when Alexander Apartments did not communicate through the VRBO app and we could not check in into their apartment. Powdene House is right in the centre which has advantages and inconveniences too. You come in through the back which was quite unattractive at first but for a short stay acceptable. The apartment is best for two but we were four and managed. At night there is quite lot of noise which could spoil your night but we were very tired...

'Beautiful place .Great for walking .The only thing is the car is full with bikes and a dog and when leaving the property you have to take the rubbish bag with you to drop it of at the bottom of the hill which for the price I have never done this before '
