'End of summer vacation'

'Our stay was okay however the property was quite messy and differed greatly from the online listing. The listing said there would be things such as wifi and when we arrived we were told we had to bring our own wifi. This did not majorly impact our stay as we still had a good time however it was disappointing to not have amenities that were on the listing.'

'Our stay at Bob's Lake from Aug 1 to 8 was fantastic from beginning to end. The property was exceptional with beautiful green space, a small beach and of course a wonderful lake. Our family enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and canoeing every day. A thrill for our grand-daughters was catch and release fishing right off the dock. 'Our extended family was congregating in the Westport area for a family reunion. As we are a large family we needed a few places for accommodation. There was a list of local places to check out and The Lazy Loon Lakehouse seemed to meet our requirementsWe had seen the pictures online but when we arrived we were even more impressed. 'Loved our vacation. Several outdoor spaces for our large extended family. Lots of quiet areas. Huge frig. Great views of the water, and our nonshedding dog loved it. Plan to return next year.'

'The inside of this property contained everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen utensils/gadgets, seasonings, coffee/selection of herbal teas, foil and even bug spray. The cottage was incredibly clean and there were plenty of linens provided. Outdoor amenities were a disappointment but management was willing to discuss and compensate us for the watercraft rental when we weren’t able to use the (inflatable) kayak. 'Great cottage property with lots of space! The house was good for 6 friends with a large kitchen. The wifi was very reliable. We appreciated the distance between neighbours so we didn’t feel like we were bugging anyone. The cottage could’ve been cleaner and better stocked with plates and cups and etc.'

'Everything was as described. All amenities worked well. Beautiful view and a private beach. A two minute drive to Calabogie golf course was a bonus (and a fantastic course at that!). Quick and easy communication with the host. We will very likely be back in the future. '
