'Average stay- would not describe as luxury. The cabins are very poorly built, the doors barely close, wires and open holes for plumbing, the smell of the water is unbearable. Hot tubs are not set up for any use. Have to pay $35 extra for wood to start a fire then wait 3-5 hours for them to heat while buying more wood to keep fire going until warm. '

'We stayed at Friends Lake Inn hoping for a relaxing getaway, but this visit was very disappointing. Upon arrival, the hotel was completely empty — no staff at the front desk, no note or key left for us, and no response to calls or texts. After waiting, we had no choice but to find and check ourselves into an unoccupied room. Additionally, none of the usual amenities were available: the restaurant and bar were not operating.
