'If you consider prime location, large rooms with waterfront balconies, free parking, two outdoor pools with free chairs and umbrellas, free various waterfront activities and weekly morning pool and group programs, the price appears way more reasonable and acceptable'

'Great breakfast with a fresh fruit salad! Very nicely refurbished rooms to mid-century style. The beds were a bit too soft for our liking, but still verry comfortable. Public area with a nice fire place. All in all a very nice motel!'

'Loved how genuinely hospitable and real this lodging felt! Not to mention the warm and welcoming owner, the spectacular view of Whiteface mountain (so close that I felt that I could reach out and touch it), the majestic music on arrival, and the oodles of personality in every inch of it.......the likes of which is so missing in the cookie-cutter lodgings that we are so accustomed to! It is an experience to stay here and I am grateful for that experience. Can't wait to return. TY, Walter!! ...

'The owner was extremely kind and helpful and he was interested in the countries the guests were from. The room was clean and well-kept, the beds comfortable , the decor rustic and authentic. The breakfast was limited (eg no bagels or bread) but a muffin or muesli-bar and a good cup of coffee from the lobby were enough to get started.'
