'This is a very good residential-style property, good value. Separate bedroom, updated bathroom with two doors, one to the living room/kitchen, one to the bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen and two closets. All very clean, also the lighting was good, with no harsh fluorescent lights. Check-in is at a separate property on Mirror Lake Drive, but that was very straightforward and the direction were easy. This is very close to Hannaford's grocery store plaza. 'My husband and I stayed in the Balsam Cabin with two of our dogs. We were there on a last vacation with my oldest dog. It was a great place, very dog friendly and easily accessed by my Sr. dog. We took some great pictures out in back of the cabin which I loved. Close to Olympic training center, short drive to Mirror Lake plenty to do around and great places to eat. Cabins were clean and homey. Check in was a breeze. Will definitely stay again'

'the cabin we stayed at was exactly as the description provided by the owners (100% accurate). what a great place to come back to after a wonderful, but hard day of hiking up Wright Peak in the High Peaks. Clean, comfortable, and a hot shower with good water pressure especially appreciated! So was having a keurig coffee maker, stocked with coffee fixin's! thank you!'

'Very old and need some TLC. The room we had was small but clean. Coffee and tea in the lobby. No personel in the hotel but key is on the desk. Just fine for the cheap price'
