'I would like to give a 5 Star Review. The room was clean, nicely decorated and roomy. Everyone was friendly and the staff was great. Also the amenities were outstanding.However, the write-up said "You'll have breathtaking lake views from both inside and outside of your cabin." This was more than a bit of a stretch. The view was mainly the green roof tops of the cabins below. Never the less we appreciated being there (a nostalgic reminder of the original Big Moose Inn) and had a good time.'

'Camp Orvis is a wonderful house in the Adirondack Park. Clean, comfy and quiet! Host is wonderful! Two bathrooms are also a a bonus.'

'Only suggestion I have is that each room should have a luggage rack and clothes rack for hanging items on.Because you no longer have a meal service, maybe to the folder on the table a list of restaurants near by could be added.Loved the layout of the facility and the book with remembrance of Old Inn and introduction of the New Inn to build more fond memories in.'

'West Hideaway Bay is at the end of Big Moose Lake with beautiful scenery of the lake. You are able to see the lake from the back porch or get a closer view down at the boat dock. We loved watching the sunrise and the fog lifting in the morning. The fish jumping was an added piece of entertainment. The camp is cozy and decorated to match the outdoors.
