'This hotel with a history offers great surroundings near Saranac lake, spacious, modern and clean family rooms, and friendly staff for a reasonable price. During our 3 week trip in July through north east of USA and Canada we planned to stay here for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night. We were very lucky with the weather ( 75 -82 F) but heard the winter period lasts long and is tough.'

'The room was spotless and even had refillable water bottles, which you can refill with your choice of flat or sparkling water. The staff was fantastic and the hotel and rooms were clean and modern. We loved relaxing in the library with a roaring fireplace and making complimentary smores kits on the fire pits! Will definitely return.'
