'Stayed here for a show at SPAC with my dad. The property was perfect for our needs; 2 bedrooms, clean, good amenities, and it was a quiet and peaceful location. No traffic noise, nice large yard with a fire pit and awesome gas grill. It was nice staying in a quieter area but still close to Saratoga and the concert venue.'

'Rustic, authentic Adirondack Lake House with plenty of room for the family. Plenty of outdoor equipment including a great dock to fish off of. Indoors was cozy with plenty of warming options on chilly nights and rainy days. Kitchen was well equipped and very spacious. Multiple dining areas including a very nice sun porch. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for authentic lake house experience.'

'The house has plenty to offer. Very clean, spacious, great layout and high cielings. Everything is updated and works well. There’s plenty of Victorian charm too. We also enjoyed the yard, outdoor fire pit, making smores with my family. Above the garage was a game room. We played billiard, darts and foosball. 'Ok, so this was incredible! The house was exactly what we hoped it would be... an awesome vacation lake house! It was clean and the amenities we updated, but it still felt like being in the lake house my parents had when I was little. Wood finish everywhere. Brick fireplace (obviously unused, but cool to look at), 3 decks to watch the sun set over the water, fire pit and a brand new dock where we sat on beach chairs and just listened to the sound of the waves. We were hosting a party at Tinney's Tavern in Lake Desolation and the South Shore House was a perfect place to retreat to at the end of the evening! Kyle was super responsive to any questions we had. 'The house is great! The house is off the main roads but still easy to get to everything! It had rained a lot and even snowed so ground was super wet, so unfortunately I didn’t get to see much of the spacious property! Check in was easy- communication with owner was great, and the beds were comfy! There are lots of movies, books, and games to keep you busy if staying in! Fully stocked kitchen was super useful! 'We were looking for a quiet, peaceful, lakefront cottage and Firefly Lodge delivered. We enjoyed coffee on the dock every morning and were joined by the ducks and loons. The highlight for us was watching the supermoon rise over the lake. It seemed like you could reach out and touch it. The owners were great and made sure we had no problems. 'Upon first appearance the house is nicely decorated. The owners did provide toilet paper, paper towels, and hand/dish soap which was nice. However, the house needs a serious deep clean. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms directly Above the beds had a thick layer of dust on them. There were crumbs in the corners of the kitchen floors and the dining room & dust bunnies in the family room. Only one of the lights above the bathroom vanity worked, the other one had a missing bulb & the other 2 did not...
