Elna was an exceptional host and a great start to our time in South Africa, she was very accomadating and drove us down the street for breakfast to meet our tour guide. We arrived late and were hungry and she gave us all the info to order food quickly and easily. The views from the room were spectacular. Would highly recommend the orangerie foe stays in Jo’burg !

'A Hideaway in Joburg. Anna, die rechte Hand der Chefin ist die gute Seele des Hauses. Ruhig gelegen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes Guesthouse. Schöner Garten mit kleinem Pool. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit frischem Obstsalat und English Breakfast.
Wir hätten uns eine Selfservice Bar gewünscht in der die Möglichkeit im Haus Getränke zu erwerben, da die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit zu fuß zu weit ist und es dort auch nicht üblich ist, zu Fuß zu gehen, obwohl es eine wohlhabende Gegend ist.'

'More like a boarding house than a hotel but great place to stay. I had no a lovely room with small courtyard view,room had fridge, desk and chair, microwave, jug and tea/coffee, TV, bed was comfortable and very friendly and helpful people. It is in a safe area and a short walk to cafes and shops.
