'It was a nice spacious room, and good area. But the door was damaged when we checked in, had two bugs in the bathtub and the corner piece of the wall was falling apart other than those issues, bedroom was clean, breakfast was amazing! and loved the pool hours!'

'We had a great stay at Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Monticello, Iowa. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and had ample parking. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable, and the beds and pillows made for a great night's sleep. The complimentary continental breakfast was a nice way to start the morning before getting back on the road. One thing to note for future guests is that the hotel has only two floors...

'Definitely not a three star hotel. Hotel is older and has had repairs. Still needs some updates/repairs. We had no issues with staff, they were all polite, pleasant, and helpful. The hotel and the room were clean. Overall, decent stay. If I had to stay there again in a pinch I would, but still prefer 3-5 star hotels.'

'Not being properly maintained. An elevator button in the lobby was not working, with a paper sign on it. Water was constantly dripping from something in the exterior ceiling onto the concrete where you exit the lobby to the rear parking lot. There was a tear in the wallpaper in our bathroom and a chip in the tub. When we tried to check in at the front desk, nobody was there, simply a sign saying someone would eventually return.
