'Definitely not luxury, aged cobwebs in room, as well as insects. Mismatched towels/ face towels, basic Kmart bath mat. Spa had flakes coming off jets and no evidence of how it is cleaned between guests. Also in guest lounge of a night, no idea how to light the room except with the lamps, and also air con remote no where to be seen.'

'Very welcoming to pets, would have been lovely if there had been an off-leash area somewhere on the property. A slightly more comprehensive range of cooking utensils and pans would also have been great. Overall, a lovely relaxing few days in a beautiful setting'

'I had a mixed stay. The good? The staff are lovely overall. The property & gardens are beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The bad? Unfortunately my room wasn't ready at check in time, which I usually wouldn't be upset about apart from having paid a high rater due to it being holiday season. Skeleton staff was to blame (due to the holiday season) but in my opinion if you're not able to accommodate guests don't charge them top dollar, OR limit the number of rooms on offer, OR at least call...

'The hotel had clean spacious rooms with modern facilities. Beds were large and comfortable and the room was quite offering ample opportunity for a good nights rest. The hotel was very close walking distance to numerous shops and restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel provided excellent made to order breakfasts.'
