'This is still a great destination. Rooms are clean and spacious and grounds well maintained. The breakfasts were the big let down. Hot foods, eggs, bacon, etc were cold from the servery and coffee often only luke warm. Otherwise a great place to stay.'

'We had a fantastic stay at Peppers Beach Club in Port Douglas and would happily return. From the moment we arrived, the staff made a wonderful impression. Check-in was smooth, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. What really stood out, though, was their incredible help at check-out. We ran into an issue with our Uber transfer to the airport, and the staff on duty went above and beyond—calling multiple local transfer companies on our behalf until they secured us a ride in time to make our flight....

'I loved staying on the 40th floor, spectacular views morning and night. Loved that each room in our 3 bedroom condo had some sort of view of the ocean and that there were 3 bathrooms!! It was nice having plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, clean towels and supplies in the kitchen. (And hair dryers) The Hilton staff was warm and professional. I would clarify the elevator scenario up front. Example condo rentals are included in "Resident" floors. Otherwise it was in the hub of...

'We had a great 3-night family stay at Whitsunday Terraces in Airlie Beach. The location is excellent—close to everything—and the views are absolutely stunning, which really made the trip special. That said, the kitchen and bathroom are quite dated and in need of an upgrade. The most frustrating part was the lack of WiFi in the rooms, which was a real inconvenience during our stay. Overall, a very enjoyable stay thanks to the location and views, but a few updates would make a big difference.'
