'This is a basic, no-frills old property that has aged well. The rooms are plain, and nothing but coffee in the office for breakfast. I am a traveler who looks for a clean place to sleep and shower; the frills don't matter. This fits the bill for someone who would rather spend their money on other things than frills in a room they will sleep in and be gone from in 12 hours. In cities, cheap hotels attract an element to stay away from, but that type is not touring the back roads of West Virginia.'

'Outstanding experience! We met the owner and she was very delightful and she made our stay perfect! She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this property and will stay again for sure.'

'We stayed 5 nights. The sheets and towels were stained. The room was dirty. They took out the trash and gave us new towels one time during our stay after we asked them several times. Often there was no one present on the premises. The street where the hotel is located is VERY run down. They did give us an extra room to keep our bikes which we appreciated. They were nice when we saw them.'

'De slaapkamer met 2 dubbele bedden was prima, maar de algemene huiskamer, keuken, eetkamer was heel ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Goede ontbijt, thee en koffie keuzes en er waren zelfs spelletjes. Een heel fijn verblijf en zeker een aanbeveling.'
