"My family and I had a great stay at this home for a lovely weekend. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Lots of extra space and thoughtful “extras” available such as toiletries and seasonings. Would stay again and hope to be able to next year!"

"You have everything you need in this cabin. The only negative is the huge rock wall in the backyard. I understand there were issues with water washing away the beaches, but I was assuming there would some small beach area. There is no lake access here. The wind is strong and chilly coming off Lake Huron."

I am a clean freak and it was clean enough - not perfect, but clean enough that I was very comfortable. 😊 The decor and design of the place was great - cozy, restful, quiet. "This property served myself and my girlfriend perfectly for a little getaway! The home itself was awesome and cozy, the area was quiet which was enjoyable, the drive to Traverse City wasn’t bad at all if you’re looking for more to do. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make our own meals, and the Fire Lake Inn food was very delicious for eating out of the home. The only two complaints I could possibly have (nitpicking here) were that the Heat/AC unit was pretty noisy at...

"We absolutely loved the property and cabin. Very relaxing. The only negative part out of our entire weekend was the beds were the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. We tried the pullout bed even but it was still hard as a rock just like the upstairs one. We would love to come back but hopefully there will be a different mattress available."

"Property was very clean and perfect size for our family. Melissa responded quickly and went above and beyond assisting us when ski camp was canceled to find another instructor. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating. We appreciated her helping us despite the weather."

"The view of the lake was so relaxing. The Cabin is definitely old. But it could have been cleaner. There were spider webs inside by the fireplace, dust and dirt under the furniture. And on the small porch the table and chairs were dirty as was the grill. Also when the 1st person would take a shower they ran out of hot water so the next person had to wait for it to regenerate. But we stayed there to be right on the lake and it was only for 3 nights so we managed. The land was great just the cabin...
