'No Towel rails in bathroom, shower so small that you touched the curtain when showering. No door or consatina folding door on bedroom opening & could see straight to the street when in bed. Bed so close to the wall that you had to climb over or push the bed against the cupboard which meant no access to cupboard. It is the only cabin we have ever stayed in where the bedside table is at the bottom of the bed, with no bedside tables next to the bed. All in all the stay was pleasurable so we hope...

'Choosing to stay here you need to keep in mind that it is a 2 star hostel so you can't expect bells and whistles. You have to manage your expectations. That being said me and my partner found this to be the perfect base for our Byron Bay stay. We stayed in a private cube double room and to be honest it's everything we needed. We've stayed in 5 star hotels before and I can honestly say the bed in this hostel was one of the comfiest beds we've ever slept in! We had a fridge to store food and drink...
