'I liked the ease of check-in and check-out. The room was clean, but the paint on the walls was dingy with stains, and in need of a fresh coat. The furniture is all very old and dated, but perfectly functional. The beds were comfortable enough, but the pillows need an update. There was a refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, hair dryer, iron, and ironing board which was helpful. 'Parking was very easy as was check-in. The only thing to add that would be more information on code to get into doors. The code was good but it lacked info on using special caricatures i.e # and lock and unlock on the upstairs. The room was great!'

'Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. The property definitely needed sprucing up. There was much peeling paint, big water stains on the ceiling and the exterior looked very neglected. The bathroom was very small with a high bathtub that was tough to get in and out of. It was an old house, on a nice corner. But, we were a bit disappointed.'

'This was a beautiful place, located in a perfect spot. Cute little town you could walk to. Boat harbor was also within walking distance. As well as beach area for swimming. The place is very spacious for a family of six. Downside…there was no microwave to reheat food. There was a wine cooler, but no fridge. We had dirty sheets on top be bed and a dirty comforter on the other bed. By dirty, I mean brown smears. The cafe and bar were not open while we were there at beginning of the week.'

The 10-acre private lot is perfect — peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. Our pets love exploring the trail, and it’s become our favorite getaway spot. The cottage is always spotless and has everything we need. The hosts are absolutely wonderful!'
