'Very clean and decorated perfectly as a lake house. The kitchen was very well equipped, even having spices for cooking. The beds were comfortable and made with high quality bedding. The property has Internet, cable TV in every bedroom and the living room. The backyard has a large grassy private lawn and covered porch with plenty of seating, a propane grill and fire pit and private access to the lake. Portage lake is dreamy -- perfect for paddling. We hope to return next year for a longer...

'The cabin is clean with all the amenities you could ever want! A short walk to the heated shower house cometw with flush toilets and laundry. Quiet, sky full of stars, close to food and plenty of places.to walk. Its our 3rd stay here and we hope to come again!'

'Great cabin in the middle of the woods. It was a lovely alternative to tent sleeping and the outside patio area was the great hangout area. Highly recommend to get away from city and work life. '

'The cottage is very cozy, clean, and well-equipped with things like large screen TV, wi-fi, dishwasher, washer & dryer, and air conditioning upstairs. Laurie is so nice and she texts you back immediately if you have a question about something. Cross Lake is gorgeous with great kayaking (there is a kayak and paddle board for guests to use), plenty of perch to catch, and a family of loons. Aroostook County is beautiful and all the people are so nice. I am looking forward to coming back next...

'We had everything we needed and then some in this clean and pretty cabin. Liked that we had our own grill on the front porch. Location was quiet and great for access to the St John Valley Heritage Trail. The pavilion had a fireplace and comfy couches and two more grills. The owners were very responsive and you really can't beat the price. All in all a great experience with all the amenities you could ask for.'
