'Beautiful historic building that is now a hotel, the rooms are a bit dated, I expected a bit newer standard in the elements of the room. The location is perfect for sightseeing the most iconic parts of Santo Domingo.
The staff is very friendly and service was excellent, food was very good as well and we would stay again if we are to visit Santo Domingo again. Great fast check in, fast check out, well run hotel. '

'The two reserved tower rooms with partial ocean view were not provided when checking in. After complaining about that we were moved from the third floor to the seventh floor where we could see the ocean partially.
Furthermore, during the booking process we were offered "slot play" as an included amenity, but this has not been available for more than two years according to the reception employees.'

'The best of 3 hotels I stayed at during my time in DR. The staff is extremely helpful, the amenities were great, the room had a fridge and a hair dryer. The internet isn't great but the breakfast definitely was. 5 stars. If I ever return to the DR I'll for sure include this hotel in my itinerary. '
