Although the twin room was sparsely furnished, it was good enough for an overnight stay. However, if you're a side sleeper like we were, you might find the futons to be too thin to be truly comfortable. 'A very peaceful stay near the shrine in Fujinomiya. It was nice to have a genuine tatami room sleep. If you are a big party this could be a really great place to book all rooms. If you have accessible needs, I will say there are a number of non-uniform stair cases, unexpected changes and dropoffs throughout, but in my opinion this is to be expected in an old building like this.
