Weather was great the area was good, the staff very friendly but the place seem to be run down a bit. Plus we had cockroaches in the bathroom. The wifi you had to log on every time you went to use it. Overall very enjoyable.

A hotel that needs some love
Hotel was empty and its peak season! It definately had the feeling the hotel was seeing hard times (tired and minimal staff). Things were not so ticketty boo - awnings ripped, rust in bathroom tiles, restaurant dark and not inviting at all, few staff, bar in the evening absolutely dead (even at sunset drinks) with no effort made by staff to make it enticing, swimming pool area not made up with cushions or towels etc. However the swimming pool is lovely, the garden / landscaping are lovely and the location on the beach is good but no where near as good as Sanur or Uluwatu region. The beach is full of motor sports (jet ski's, banana boats, parasails w speedboats etc) so not exactly peaceful. You can walk for about 15 mins along the sea front through other hotels but after that you hit construction sites or rubbish dumps. The area is full of large bus loads of packaged tourist staying in large hotels. The restaurants outside the hotel are average. Again nothing great compared to Jimbaran, Sanur or Seminyak. I would say its not in the best area in Bali to stay at all. We won't return to the hotel or the area and I certainly couldn't imaging paying full price for the hotel. We got it last minute so value for money was just ok.

very old and tired hotel run down in all respects
Compared to others at same price, this is way overpriced.Breakfast poor no bar choices, no vodka, bacardi or gin. I beer choice and staff in most areas poorly spoken with little idea of what they should be doing. Broken pot plants just left as is. No real milk coffee. pool lights all unserviceable and some algae on sides of pool.

Hotel made for Couple
Our Welcome was great at the Hotel with a fresh welcome drink . Staffs and hotel reception was very help full and very understanding specially when I requested for an hour delay in my check out they were absolutely cool in that . The Inside environment of Hotel was very cool and good maintained gardens and greenery to have a lovely walk during evening . The beach was also not far off and the swimming pool area was well maintained and cleaned . Overall a very comfort stay and and well maintained property. Guest who are looking for an absolute noise free and calm stay specially for couples its one of the best in the Nusa Dua area in Bali. There is no one to disturb you and a good area inside Hotel to get yourself free and relaxed.

Restful and relaxing
Exactly what we needed and better than we expected. We upgraded our room which was massive, had a fabulous time swimming in the pool and at the beach. Un disturbed by hawkers who were very respectful and did not encroach. Breakfast good particularly the Indonesian breakfast. Staff most accommodating but did struggle with English.

Close to the beach. It's 10-15 minutes by shuttle bus to centre of Nusa Dua. Good spa service but not excellent . Restaurant should have a little bit more choices. Was there in September and it was very quiet. Would also be good if the hotel provide more guests activities.

Good pool. Very helpful staff who were more than happy to look after our bags and even offered us a shower in their spa before our midnight flight. Lunch at the restaurant was very overpriced, but there are plenty of places across the road to eat at

all the staff were very friendly and excellent service with all staff, clean and tidy gardens, beach cleaned daily just a step from the resort to the beach, room serviced every day, mini bar stocked and bottled every day great service. resort was in a great location for restaurants and bars and shopping was also near by. breakfast was also supply and did the job for us.

Perfect small resort on the beach
We arrived to Bali for the second time but this time with our 19 month old daughter so we were looking for quiet and not surf waves. The staff had arranged with a very good baby cot free of charge for us. Our daughter slept well and so did we. The resort is small and perfectly placed on the beach. The pool and surroundings is beautiful and the house was great. Quiet but with some restaurants near by so you can chose to go out. Staff was amazing and friendly and service and cleaning was perfect. After all we could not wish for any better resort with baby in Bali.

Great hotel near the beach
Great hotel and very friendly staff. We were on our honeymoon and the staff really spoiled us - 1st of all a desert brought to our room which was delicious. The following day roses on our bed and the last day rose petals in the bath - beautiful. Great pool nice beach although the beach in Nusa Duo was much better however this hotel is only a short drive away and half the price. Plenty of water sports on the doorstop - try jet skiing and flying fish:).

Gorgeous but sterile resort.
The Bali Khama is a beautiful luxurious resort, but it is not the place for travelers - it is perfect for tourists. After wandering all over Bali, we booked this place for our last two nights and ended up leaving a night early even with a nonrefundable rate. The place is stunning, but was just too sterile for us and the immediate surroundings (bars/restaurants) was not so awesome. Our leaving early had nothing to do with the resort, it was my mistake booking it. The resort is perfect for those who are resort-minded people; a stunning lobby, business center with Mac computers, immaculate gardens, and a beach front pool. The area lacks culture and the vibe we were used to. We just did not want our last 2 days in Bali to be there - we went back to Seminyak. Oh - I almost forgot - the beach was well kept and the water was warm due to the currents from India.

great quiet hotel on the beach
Booked Romantic Villa for our honeymoon. Room was fantastic. Really clean and tidy, loved the romantic king sized bed with curtain surrounds, the bathroom was top class and loved the rose petal filled bath. The private pool was great. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Really enjoyed the complimentary neck and shoulder massage so booked in for 60 min Bali Massage. Really great. The pools on the beachfront were great too, as was the poolside bar. All in all, we had a fantastic time at the Bali Khama and definitely recommend you book.

Peaceful Hotel
If you are looking for a quiet restful hotel then this is the one. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel backs out onto the beach. We enjoyed the breakfasts looking over the bay, and the amenities were always clean and well maintained. The only negatives would be that the beach area is frequented by the parasailing/banana boats etc so occasionally you get the fumes from the 250 motors which is no fault of the hotel. The beach itself is kept well maintained and the two beachside stalls on each side of the hotel are soft sellers (if you don't frequent Bali this means they are not "in your face" loud or obnoxious but are gentle & quiet when wanting to barter) We stayed at this hotel on our 25th wedding anniversary and came back to the hotel one night to be greeted with a beautiful strawberry cream cake, it was very thoughtful and touching, and something that gets lost in the larger hotels. These little things make a huge difference. The pool bar (not swim up) is a little expensive on Bali terms and does not include services tax on the listed prices, these are added later so be careful there. The location is good, Benoa is improving with works going on to repair foot paths etc. Not the hustle & bustle of Kuta, there is a gorgeous little bar across the road which serves great food and cocktails at excellent prices and also incorporates a massage palour at the rear, also a good aussie bar up the road in either direction called Meads which had amazing food!

Beautiful beach front resort. Quiet location with lovely rooms. Great pool and wonderful spa. All the staff were sincerely kind, helpful and polite. A great holiday and can't wait to go back!

Not a real beach resort
We arrived here on the 16th to round out our honeymoon in Bali, with Nusa Dua being our last stop. Let me tell you if you want to enjoy Nusa Dua beaches this is probably the worst location you can pick. It is almost the last stretch of sand before a boat port, in the mornings the tide is out and there is no water to swim in, in the mid day you will smell sewage and petrols from all the boats revving their engines and it is generally not an attractive scene at all. If you compare this area to the south portion of Nusa Dua, you will think you are in a totally different country. This hotel is located in the most underdeveloped part of the area and most sidewalks are not finished, the whole area is very run down. If you want beauty in Bali head southern Nusa Dua, it is absolute paradise there! Our room was okay, the white curtains around the bed had cigarette burns in them which was really unattractive and seemed hidden when they were furled up. We smelled sewage every day in our outdoor bathroom which was extremely unpleasant. The only saving grace for me not giving this hotel a rating of 1, was the staff. They were overall very pleasant and professional, except the manager who apparently resigned 2 weeks before so there was no one to help us get a refund when we left early to enjoy an actual beach. This is also not Nusa Dua, this area is called Tanjung Benoa, which we found out once there. If you want amazing beaches in Nusa Dua, head to the southern part.

Quiet and Easy Location but not far from anywhere
Great staff and welcome. Quiet hotel with not the full expanse of other major hotels in Nusa Dua but it was full of everything we needed for a short stay. Location was great and not in the main part of Nusa Dua but had lots of shops and restaurant nearby. The room was fine and standard. Did the work as we werent there much. We had the need for the aircon which was welcome at night. The main drawback was the design of the shower/bath as the lip of the bath contained all the water in a little pool all the way round the tub, holding water there, and you can see all the grout going black from the constant water and mould. Otherwise fine.

Nothing but amazing!
My partner and I stayed at the Bali Khama a few weeks back. We booked a spontaneous trip to Bali a few days before departing and decided to stay at the Bali Khama from its great reviews on expedia already. We arrived at the resort and were made to feel very welcome, our bags were taken to our rooms and we were shown around the resort by one of the butlers.We booked the romantic villa room and it was perfect. I loved the indoor outdoor flow of the bathroom and bedroom and our private dipping pool in our room was great. We took advantage of happy hour cocktails on the beach every day and the chance to relax by lounging by the pool. The resort was so peaceful, and all the staff were very pleasant and always said hello and smiled. The buffet breakfasts we had booked with our room deal were 5 star +++ food we enjoyed the fresh mango juice, the bacon, sausages and the buttermilk pancakes every morning. We also ate at the restaurant for lunch and dinner and we could not fault any of the meals and the service. The Bali Khama was close to eateries, massage places, scooter hire places, and beaches in Nusa Dua. We enjoyed staying in Nusa Dua as it was away from the hustle and bustle of central Kuta. All in all our stay was amazing and we will definitely be coming back in the future to stay at the Bali Khama.

Peace and Serenity on the beach
From the moment we arrived the hotel exceeded our expectations. We had got an excellent deal and really hadn't expected the quality of the whole place. We stayed in a Romantic Pool Villa which was very private, the bed was huge and the outdoor bathroom was a lovely touch. We never needed to use the resort pool as we had our own which was really convenient. The staff were super-friendly and we had some laughs with them, nothing was too much trouble. The location couldn't have been better, the beach on one side of the hotel and shops and restaurants on the other side across the road. We spent most of the time relaxing at the hotel but the bustle of Kuta was only a 20 minute taxi ride away. The hotel was a lovely sanctuary to return too after a trip out. We would definitely return for another stay if it's possible.

I loved the low density feel about the Bali Khama...just villas in a few rows in single or double storey. I asked for a crib for my 13-month old baby and it was ready when we arrived. The staff were polite and the service was great. Areas for improvement - food quality and variety at breakfast.....the selection and kinds of food provided were not great. I usually look forward to buffet breakfast at hotels but not in this case. The selection of channels on tv was good but some channels like HBO were so blurry. I would suggest for staff to check that all tv channels are clear with good reception.

Hotel facilities are very nice and luxurious. Pool was amazing as was the beachfront and private beach. Rooms were very clean. So first impressions were great but there were ongoing problems once we settled in. The wifi was very intermittent and slow. The air conditioner in the room was very loud. The restaurant staff were also not very good compared to other hotel restaurants.

I have stayed in Bali many times and this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and luxurious holiday. The staff are friendly and helpful at all times and the facilities wonderful. Would definitely stay here again...and hopefully soon!

My room is on the first floor facing the walkway. As a result, I could not open the blinds at all if I need some privacy. There are no other windows facing other directions, so my room was dark. I think second floor rooms are probably better. The room was minimally equipped. There is only a bed and a desk chair in the room. No sofa or a resting area. It is not a very cozy room. The wood floor is clean, but have some water damage due to humidity. The beach side pool is excellent. The water temperature is perfect and the pool is clean. It is very pleasant to swim in. I used the pool 3 times in one day. The staff is very nice. The breakfast is served in the restaurant next to the beach with excellent view. The food is OK, not great. There is no cloth iron in the room. I recommend it, because it is priced reasonably for what it has. If you want a beach front resort with a better room, you probably need to pay moor.

Awesome - Bali Khama
My bf and I stayed at the Bali Khama Beach & Spa Resort in a villa and we loved it. The villa met our expectations, we were very impressed. The resort is beautiful and the staff are amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. Great place to stay at if you want to get away from the craziness that is Kuta. We also indulged and used their spa facilities, highly recommended, it was one of the best full body massages ive ever received. We'll 100% stay there again the next time we visit Bali.

Lovely spot, friendly staff, luxurious villas and great pools in communal area, both of which were kid-friendly. Grounds were beautifully kept, it's very quiet and peaceful and close walk to restaurant strip and other resorts. Beach out the front is clean, with lovely views of the boats and mountains in the distance.

GO FOR IT !! Except a couple of things which i didnt like, The resort was a very good. I had the pool villa for three nights. It was very well maintained. The staff was the best I ve seen. 5/5 for the staff. 1) I spotted a mosquitoes or two during my stay. However they had put the anti mosquito burner in the room that helped. 2) The breakfast has some for improvement. It was good overall though. Considering the charges, this is a very good resort. Worth every penny.

Amazing resort, with a Fantastic beach and staff
The hotel was a great value. We stayed for 12 days in March, the staff were amazing, they all knew us by name, and loved to stop and chat. They gave great advice on restaurants and tours, as well as a lot of local knowledge. Febri, and Sedana were two of our favorites! they made our trip quite memorable. The grounds were immaculate, trimmed and cleaned everyday. The beach was fantastic, soft sand, and very clean. They would rake up the seaweed everyday and clean the waters. We walked the beach for miles in both directions and concluded that our resort definetly had the nicest beach and swimming area of all the resorts in the area. The room was comfortable, and clean, and housekeeping did a great job everyday. The place was very safe, and well secured. The immediate area was great, lots of restaurants to pick from, local shops and convienince stores. Wifi was down for the first few days, but once they got it fixed it worked very well throughout the resort. The pools were amazing, very clean and plenty of lounge chairs. Drinks were tasty but we felt quite overpriced. no different than the other resorts though. Great service, good food and drinks, and an amazing staff. We would definetly stay there again.

Bali Khama hotel is situated at Nusa dua which is the best area for water sports in Bali, though the beaches aren't that clean and serene but still the evening sunset is wonderful. Bali khama hotel provides a neat and beautiful view at Nusa dua beach with good rooms and extremely courteous Hotel staff. though the rooms are good but don't expect them with the private villas lest you will be disappointed. Special Tip for Pizza lovers: Do try their VOLcano Pizza.

Amazing Resort
What a wonderful resort! The gardens are beautiful, the beach in front of the resort is well looked after and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is definitely a great place for a quiet getaway where you can lay by the pool without being disturbed and walk along the beach without being hassled, but it's still only 30 minutes to Kuta, which will only cost you $8 AUS in a taxi, if you want to go to bigger bars and the busy shopping area. It's a well looked after resort but still in the midst of Bali, so when you step out the front you still feel like you're experiencing the true Bali without the manufactured Bali of Nusa Dua or the complete chaos that can be Kuta. We had a package where buffet breakfast was included every morning, this was great! There is a selection of 'western' style items such as pastries, toast, bacon and chefs on hand to cook pancakes and omlettes etc, and then lots of Balinese dishes, which were delicious, along with tropical fruit, juices, tea and coffee. Our room was very well looked after with lots of fresh towels and toiletries placed in daily and very promptly. A beautiful, tranquil resort that is a credit to the staff who work so hard to make everything perfect.

Khama magic
Superb boutique resort. Nice location in Tanjung Benoa near Nusa Dua and only a half hour ride to the airport. We loved the privacy of the villas and the ample space they provided. Only downsides if you could call them that were a lack of wardrobe space and intermittent Wifi quality; but in reality its not the type of place you go to spend much time online. Loads of restaurants and Spas on the doorstep. Would highly recommend to couples looking for that little bit of extra privacy and luxury.

Amazing Hotel
My husband and I found this hotel absolutely amazing, we booked the romantic villa and was really worth the extra money, we were on our honeymoon and the staff really made us feel welcome and special. The hotel is small, clean and quiet, staff couldn't do enough to help with any query that we had. The Bali Khama is the place for you if you want a quieter holiday away from the rat race of Kuta. The food and bar are on the expensive side but there are shops and plenty of restaurants across the road with more reasonable prices and food is good at all, though all serve nearly identical menus.
