'I stayed at Wombalee with my partner & our dog, this July.It was an awesome home to enjoy the views, nearby bushwalks, visiting Mayfield Gardens, antique stores as well as exploring the property’s beautiful paddock & acreage.Highlights of most days was visiting the butchers in town, going back to the well-appointed kitchen for a cookup while the fireplace was being setup, then chilling on the super-comfy sofas with a red wine & or the local port.'

'From the time we reached there, Allan and Loraine made us feel welcomed as if we were visiting family or friends.The property was super clean, very well supplied and they seem to have carefully considered little details to make the experience great - things like there is a small torch in keychain for example. The porch has amazing mountain views and you can enjoy perfect sunset. They are also beekeepers, they offered us free honey tasting and samples. We really liked it and purchased some of it....

'The house was really clean and comfortable for my young family. The house was nice and warm so everyone was really comfortable at night which was a priority for the time of the year we travelled and with young children. Location was perfect and really easy to get around. '

'Our family of 4 visited the area around Oberon to go fossicking and Hillcrest Farm Stay was a fabulous place to stay. The accommodation was very comfortable, warm and well equipped. The kids particularly enjoyed the fire pit in the cold weather! The host, Neil, was very responsive in the lead up, and also hospitable and attentive during our stay. We will definitely be back!'
