Met een professioneel ingericht interieur, omgekeerde plattegrond en uitgebreide aandacht voor detail, biedt Luna's een luxe strandvakantie-ervaring. Luna’s is een huisdiervriendelijke accommodatie met een lift en 1 volledig ADA-conform bed en bad, en is voorbereid om alle leden van uw feest comfortabel te huisvesten. Grote gezinnen zijn gebouwd voor entertainment van binnen en van buiten en zullen genieten van de comfortabele woonkamer, eetgedeeltes met voldoende zitplaatsen voor iedereen, en een gastronomische keuken ontworpen met veel aanrecht en kastruimte. Daarnaast beschikt de accommodatie ook over een lounge op het 1e niveau met een aangrenzende kitchenette. En elke slaapkamer heeft zijn eigen aangrenzende eigen badkamer, waardoor de perfecte combinatie van privacy en samenzijn wordt gewaarborgd.

De high-end functies strekken zich ook uit naar buiten, waar u een uitnodigende hot tub vindt die overloopt in een privézwembad, dat kan worden verwarmd voor een extra $ 50 per dag. Omgeven door comfortabel meubilair en een ingebouwde buitenkeuken met gasgrill, zult u zeker urenlang genieten van de zachte zeewind terwijl u ontspant met een koel drankje.

Extra wenselijke functies zijn onder andere een open haard, afgesloten buitendouche met warm en koud water en zelfs een oplaadpoort voor elektrische auto's. En voor grotere groepen of familiereünies, moet u de gelijknamige accommodatie The Sandy Puppy direct naast de deur bekijken. A Great House for Extended Family

This house was the perfect size for our extended family of 10. We have stayed at Luna’s before so knew what to expect and enjoyed our repeat visit. Every room having its own bathroom is a huge plus! The large kitchen and table were perfect for our meals together and we loved watching college football on the big tv. The coffee pot was broken when we got there and the rental company was quick to replace with a new one. My two complaints were that there was a lot of sand on the floors and it was a bit dusty. Also the hot tub heater didn’t work so that was a disappointment to our kids but they still braved the cold water and had fun. Overall a great place to stay!

Overall our week was great. We had some issues with the elevator when we arrived but maintenance responded quickly and it was fixed the same day. The house is great for a large family. Lot of privacy if you want it. Having the pool and the location in relation to the beach was worth the extra money. Only complaint is that we saw a lot of roaches outside - mostly in the decks and near the grill at night. I would definitely recommend an exterminator.

Excellent stay at LUNAS!

Loved our stay at the relatively new LUNAS - our family of 12 had lots of room and enjoyed the house - was great for cooking (outside and in - grills and stove are hi-end), ample rooms and bathrooms, easy and short walk to beach access...good location..overall we loved it! Kids loved the hot tub ....We did have an air conditioner issue on the top level that was remedied as well as it could be with property management (Oak Island Mgmt, required several visits from contractors and OI Accom staff), though communication could have been better (promises to call back with updates were not always fulfilled). We also thought that the relatively new floors might be in need of a good mopping. OTHER than those two things, was a great house/experience!

Website friendly, it’s easy to reserve the location you select. The pictures online represent the rentals perfectly. Luna’s is a perfect spot. It’s spacious and nicely decorated. It provides everything you need for a nice relaxing vacation.

Beautiful House

Let’s just say that I paid for a Ferrari and got a Porsche!!! LOL!! Beautiful House but disgusting cleaning service ( not the crew ... I blame the management company not having enough crew to get this house ready on time ...TIme that I PAID IN FULL even a late check out fee they charged me, but no response for late check in or dirty House???? 2 people came and cleaned the house ( FOR THAT SIZE REALLY?? ) And with Covid Restrictions 1 hour and a half to spic and span a 6 bedroom House???? I felt disgusted through out the 3 nights I laid on those beds even though I was riding a Porsche.. LOL! Again they responded to the areas of concern late..but for the amount of money I paid I shouldn’t have to be calling anyone on my 4 day vacation big expensive house, to have to let them know that the House is Filthy! No way that house was sanitize at all!

Awesome place, will definitely come back

Our family of five plus two dogs stayed a week. We also invited another family of four and a couple. The place was new, location was great and having a heated pool/hot tub was a big place. Beach across the street was great for walks and hanging out. The living space on the top floor was right from a home design magazine. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cutlery. Views were awesome from living spaces and all balconies. Bedrooms were spacious and all had their own bathrooms. Great place and will be back again.

Well Stocked Property (but came with issues)

While we did enjoy the overall advantages of renting the Luna property (from Feb 9th – Feb 28) we were extremely disappointed with the home having so many issues. We only rented this home due to construction at our home on Holden Beach so we were looking forward to a quite stay at Oak Island and the Luna property which would allowed myself and my husband to work (yes work) on separate floors Here are things that happened during our stay: • Water was turned off for lack of payment by the owners • Maintenance was scheduled for the stove but no one altered us to these repairs prior to the gentleman arriving • Downstairs heat went out and the part to fix it was not available during the duration of our stay • Hot tub did not work from check-in on February 9th and was finally addressed on February 15th….I called daily. The settings were changed on the hot tub to “dump and filter” during the evening hours to fix the issues. Guests need to be aware that the system resets daily and that a button on the system must be pushed to insure the hot tub remains hot throughout the day. Very weird system. Other unreported issues: • None of the batteries in the remotes (in every room) worked. Had to purchase batteries where needed during our stay as we did not use all the bedrooms • Smoke detector upstairs – main living area – at front deck went off in the middle of the night so had to replace batteries – thankfully we had already purchased batteries for the remotes or this would have been a long night! • Toilet in downstairs bunk bed bathroom is leaking • Handle on Master Shower is loose As you can see we had to deal with “more than normal” issues during our stay which was very unfortunate to say the least. The owners of the Luna property need to get these issues worked out as many people who stay at this property will not be as easy going as we were. In fact, I know I called Oak Island accommodations no less than 10 times during our stay. The property itself was nicely stocked with plenty of room to spread out which was nice but with all the inconveniences I cannot say I would rate this property with shining stars. In fact, many would have been extremely irritated with all the issues. Definitely room for improvement with this property!
