'Non-contact hotel offering good facilities for stay in Oakham. Comfy bed, very nice washroom and basic appliances. Good value for money'

'Cosy room. Lovely garden to sit outside and admire the countryside.'

'Issue with getting into room, staff was helpful to get in. Clean place, value for money'

'The room is big as well as the bathroom. Free parking onsite was a bonus. What I really don’t like is below our window they loaded after a party in the hotel, a van until 2am which made us not being able to sleep. This should not be allowed by the hotel. '

'Decent on paper, disappointing in reality. The room looked fine in the photos but fell short in person. We were on the ground floor and arrived to a strong smell of cigarettes - the throw blanket had a burn hole in it, suggesting a previous guest had smoked despite the advertised £100 fine. 'Although we almost turned around upon walking down the block towards the guest house, I am glad we stayed there. Paul, the custodian, was charming and helpful, the facilities were adequate, and access to food make a simple breakfast was nice, but every room should have a fan. We appreciated the price, but will not stay there again.'

'Gelegen vlak bij het historische en commerciële centrum, maar toch in een al erg verloederde buurt. Hotel is erg recent herdaan, maar op een erg goedkope manier. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk.'
