Upon check-in, we were given the wrong room. When we went upstairs, we found it was a two double bed room instead of the suite we had reserved.
When we asked for assistance, we were not given clear options or reassurance. We were told a manager was not available and that we might have to wait until the next day, which caused unnecessary stress and uncertainty, especially since we had called ahead and checked before 4 p.m. The staff member assisting us came across as dismissive when we asked follow-up questions.
Although a room was eventually found for us, the lack of communication and the feeling of being dismissed significantly impacted our experience. We simply needed clarity and reassurance so we could decide whether to stay or make alternate arrangements.
