'The rooms at the property need to be updated. The pool was not clean. The towels are very small. However, breakfast was nice with different options available. Snacks were available for a reasonable price. It appears as though the new owners are trying to update the property. The exterior has had many updates and the interior common areas have been updated. 'Clean room'

'We were assigned Room 101. Unfortunately, it was not clean. We found several cigarette butts under the bed, which was especially concerning since we were traveling with our toddler. We had expected a clean, non-smoking room. On a positive note, the management was friendly and helpful, but the cleanliness of the room was disappointing.'

'97 degrees outside. The A/C in my room did not work properly. Sweating all night as it would not cool my room. All I got at the front desk the next morning was, “Sorry.” Will find a different place to stay on my trip out west next summer! :('

'Good waterfront rental. I mistakenly thought it was located on Lake Michigan. It is NOT located on Lake Michigan. It’s located next to a strip mall which is convenient with a Walgreens, Aldi’s and Jewel grocery store within a few blocks of the motel. Lake Chesterton is located behind the motel with a nice view. You can feed geese and turtles from your patio that’s suspended over the water. Our room had a hot tub, which was a nice perk. Friendly staff. Lake Michigan rentals are difficult to find,...

'The continental breakfast had a great selection. I was pleased with that and the AC in the room. The only thing I would like to have heard is a welcome when checking in. Well and the ice maker was not working. '
