Het appartement is nieuw, zeer privé, gelegen aan de straatkant op een rustige locatie. Het bevindt zich in een koloniale wijk, Jalatlaco, een van de meest traditionele barrios van Oaxaca, waar je de gezellige en warme sfeer van zijn mensen kunt voelen. Het is gunstig gelegen op korte loopafstand van restaurants, supermarkten, de binnenstad, kunstgalerijen en meer. Dit appartement biedt modern comfort en gemakken gecombineerd met een rustieke omgeving en uitgebreid gebruik van handwerk uit Oaxaca.
Loop naar de fatsoen, hoewel een patio en een kleine tuin, de appartementen zijn, open de houten voordeur om naar de woonkamer te komen met kabel-tv, dvd, kabelmodem voor snelle internettoegang en een gastentoilet.
Verder is de 4 persoons eetkamer met veel ventilatie en licht. De keuken is volledig uitgerust met alle apparatuur die nodig is om heerlijke maaltijden te maken.
Het appartement heeft twee tweepersoonsslaapkamers, een met een eigen complete badkamer en toegang tot het binnenterras, de andere tweepersoonsslaapkamer en er is een eenpersoonskamer met een eigen complete badkamer en toegang tot het binnenterras. Alle slaapkamers hebben veel licht, houten meubels, een grote kast en zijn versierd met Oaxaca volkskunst om uw comfort te voltooien.
Het overdekte terras heeft een salontafel, plannen om het gevoel van comfort, rust en uitstekend om te lezen en te ontspannen voltooien.
Er zijn tal van restaurants in de buurt en cenadurias (klein restaurant om te dineren), de Santo Domingo-kerk ligt op 10 minuten lopen en de Andador Turistico is de aarde van het centrum van Oaxaca, waar u auteursrestaurants, Spaanse scholen, kunstgalerijen, een bibliotheek vindt, concerten, coffeeshops en nachtleven.
Oaxaca staat vermeld als een van de beste vakantiebestemmingen in Mexico, het is een koloniale stad, oude ruïnes, een geweldig zomerfestival Guelaguetza en de oceaanstille oceaan in de buurt.

Very nice apartment in great location

We really enjoyed staying in this property. The apartment was very nice and well-furnished and matched the listing well. The location is great for being able to walk to the centro district for the zocalo and mercados, or just around Jalatlaco where there are some great cafes plus vibrant street art. I recommend it for your stay in Oaxaca City!I also had a great experience working with the property owner, he was very communicative and I felt very attended to.

Hidden Gem

This property was an amazing find in a great neighborhood! My husband and I stayed with another couple, we had plenty of space. The apartment was clean, the host was very responsive and helpful. We were in walking distance to the city center and had easy access to the taxi service. This was our first time out n Mexico, we will definitely visit Oaxaca again and stay here again!

Beautiful place, great neighbourhood.

I stayed for 6 nights and explored Oaxaca city and the surrounding area. This place was perfectly located in the artsy area of the city. There is not a ton of natural light in the main room and middle bedroom, but I stayed in the room with lots of light facing the front entrance and it was duvine. It was great having a kitchen and coffee pot for saving on eating out! But eat out a little as the food in Oaxaca is amazing.

Beautiful neighborhood and wonderful place for up to 5 people to stay

A lovely place in a AMAZING neighborhood. Two very large BR's (one with private bath, the other is right next to living room bath); and one very small BR with private bath. The two large BR's would be perfect for couples; the small BR was really too small for a couple to stay in comfortably. Host (Ricardo) was incredibly responsive and helpful to our needs. The apartment was very private and quiet except for when people in the downstairs unit were socializing outside on their patio (and when parades/celebrations were going on--but that's anywhere in Oaxaca!!) Patio with table, chairs, and hammock is private and doesn't have much of a view. Would TOTALLY stay here again!

Great apartment, great location

We stayed in this apartment as a family of 4 for 4 weeks. It was very comfortable and we loved the neighborhood. It was a bit of a hike with a 7 and 5 year old to walk to the historic center; but we could do it. Two great parks nearby. Friendly neighbors. Accommodating and available property manager. There are just a couple little things I would recommend improving for long stays 1) the stove wasn’t firing at full capacity on all the burners and we weren’t sure how to work the oven, or if it worked. 2) the screens doors didn’t move and were not sealed at the bottom - not ideal for mosquitos. I’m sure the property owner will update these items. We did not complain about them at the time. He was very responsive to our other requests.

A perfect Oaxaca home and host

This excellent three-bedroom, three-bath home is, imo, the perfect place to stay when visiting Oaxaca. Located in the neighborhood of Jalatlaco, a colorful and funky barrio just a fifteen-minute walk to Centro and the Santo Domingo church, it was clean, spacious, attractive, comfortable, well laid out, and secure. A great base that is close to all that beautiful Oaxaca has to offer. Host Ricardo was easy to communicate with and attentive to every request. Full marks all around for a place I would certainly stay at again on my next trip to this amazing city.

The location in Jalatlaco was excellent. Easy to walk everywhere we needed to. The place was very clean with tastful art on the walls. The host was always responsive to every request for assistance. Beautiful apartment in an amazing neighborhood

Our family of 5 traveled to Oaxaca to study Spanish for 2 weeks. This apartment was the perfect amount of space for us. It is close to many cafes and restaurants but the neighborhood is also super quiet for being so close to the center of the city. There is a lavanderia one block from the apartment and Mercado Merced is only a few blocks away for all your shopping needs. Ricardo was kind and available for anything we needed for the apartment. We would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic

This lovely well appointed apartment in the Jalatlaco neighborhood was the perfect location to explore Oaxaca City. Plenty of room to accommodate three adults - each of the three bedrooms has access to a bathroom (two are en-suite). We preferred to be a little outside of, but close to, the city centro to avoid noise. The neighborhood is vibrant and charming. Lots of cute cafes, coffee shops etc. The uneven cobblestone streets require comfortable walking shoes so leave the heels at home but it’s an easy 10-15 minute walk to centro. The host Ricardo was easy to communicate with and everything went smoothly from check in to check out. Would highly recommend this apartment.

Perfect spot from which to explore

The apartment was quite comfortable and fairly well appointed. It was perfect for three or four people to use as a central hub for exploring the central area of the city. Everything was within reasonable walking distance. There were numerous restaurants and coffee/breakfast shops within a block ore two in any direction. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. It should be noted that there is no air conditioning and the apartment did get a bit warm at times despite all of the ceiling fans.

I, my sister and my adult son stayed here for ten days. It was perfect. We each had our bedroom and bathroom. The location couldn’t be better. Family Thanksgiving in Oaxaca

We rented the entire building (all three units) for a family vacation. My 81 year old parents stayed in the ground floor unit with my adult children, my brother's family stayed in the middle unit with his teenage children and my wife and I took the top floor unit. Ricardo, who is very responsive, lent us a larger table which we used for a few dinners and game playing at night. We spent a lot of time on the top floor terrace in the afternoons and evenings. The location and neighborhood couldn't be better.

Great place and location!
