Kamer (superior) was prima, beetje gedateerd, maar niets mis mee. Het ontbijt was helaas niet goed. Er was geen gewone thee en niets werd aangevuld, dus de laatkomers hadden pech.

Fijn hotel
Prima verblijf gehad. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en servicegevoelig. Fijne tuin met zitjes en lekker zwembad. Locatie perfect: nét buiten de grote toeristendrukte, maar op loopafstand van het leuke dorp. Ontbijtbuffet was goed.

Nice and close to the Obidos Old Town. Free parking in front of the hotel or their parking lot. Breakfast was included which was nice. Friendly reception staff. Room was a bit on the small side but comfortable.

Great check in, front desk person helped us find handicapped parking at the top of the hill, which was such a help. Breakfast buffet fine.

Good stay
The hotel is very well placed for a visit to Obidos. The parking is very good but accessed via a steep slope. The staff very helpful. The room small and very '70's in decor but everything worked. Only disappointment was what should have been an excellent breakfast spoilt by catering staff. A party of walkers went at 8am and obviously enjoyed their breakfast. Between 9 and 10am about 25 people came into the room to find nothing had been replenished. A Portuguese speaker asked for more cooked food and a very small amount was then cooked, there was not enough for all. We had to ask for tea bags and the cereal bread etc was not kept stocked.

Hôtel très bien situé mais pas de vrais personnels
Accueil impoli, ils se sont trompé dans la chambre (un lit double au lieu de deux), aucune excuse ne nous a été fait. J’ai dû demandé des draps moi même pour refaire les lits par mes soins sans mot d’excuse ou geste commercial. Au petit déjeuner, nous avons dû nous meme débarrasser une table pour s’y attabler et le personnel n’était pas disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Le seul point positif de l’hôtel est sa localisation.

Nous regrettons que votre séjour ne se soit pas déroulé comme prévu. Nous avons certainement eu une erreur à votre arrivée - la chambre avait un lit double au lieu de deux lits simples. La réceptionniste qui était de service ce jour-là était seule dans l'hôtel et il lui était impossible de changer les lits, c'est pourquoi nous vous avons donné les draps, à votre demande, pour changer les lits. Malgré tout, nous espérons que vous avez passé un excellent séjour à Óbidos. Avec nos meilleures salutations,

Really nice lobby and public areas. First class staff interaction. Excellent breakfast. All pluses. Down sides, very hard bed (realise this is subjective!) and very small shower cubicle. More pluses: Really close to historic centre - an easy walk, free parking a definite bonus.

Location perfect, walkable to the old town. Lovely little terrace and great parking. Covenience store, petrol and outdoor laundromat close at hand. Two larger grocery stores within a kilometer walk away…even a mobile phone shop for SIM card purchases. A con is that the hotel could use some refurbishment. Our toilet seat needed to be replaced.

Regarding your comments, we would like to pass on the following observations: - Our Hotel started as a small guesthouse, in 1998, but the dream grew and, in 2011, we received the classification of 3-star Hotel, having currently 23 rooms with different typologies: double, triple, superior double, family and suite. - We are recognized as a family accommodation with a welcoming environment, with a swimming pool, a garden and an outdoor private parking. - Regarding the need for intervention in the rooms, we always suggest that our guests indicate any constraints, such as the ones you mention with the air conditioning, so that we can assess the pertinence of changing accommodation, or request support from the Hotel maintenance staff. We hope to have, in the near future, the opportunity to receive your preference once again, in terms of accommodation in the town of Óbidos.
