'We had a great time here! John was friendly but not intrusive at all. It's a bit far from most places but that's why we chose this listing in the first place. This is a good spot to hit some of the big island's southern points, like the black and geeen sand beaches, Volcanoes NP/Kilauea, and escaping the city. We loved the yurts, they had just what we needed without being pretentious, a bit like "glamping".'

'Checkin very friendly, the park is super clean, parking easy. Apartment good with lot of extra's like dishwasher, washing machine, coffee etc. Close to the black beach. Although there is not much around the location (20-30min drive for a supermarket), thats not the worst. On the big island everything takes time to drive, so for a relaxing place, this hotel is recommended.'

'Exactly what we wished for, a delightful getaway from the typical crowds. Every morning, we relished the beginning of our day by sipping coffee on the balcony while searching for the resident donkey. Just witnessing the sunrise light up the breathtaking landscape each morning was truly calming.
