'The Flamingo Lodge was great! Just a few minutes walk to Umhlanga Rocks beach and the famous Whale Bone pier. Surprisingly, it is really close to the Umhlanga action and restaurants, but peaceful inside. The Staff was great, they were quick to do anything that needed doing and had access or instructions for the various activities in the area. They even helped out with the 2 year. I will certainly stay again!'

'We booked a studio with ocean view through hotels.com but it appears studio’s don’t have ocean view ? Manager accommodated is for the second night, he did his best. Uhmlanga Rocks is a nice, upscale area. Weather did not help as the hotel has a beautiful pool but it was simply too cold.'

'The stay at the hotel was excellent very central of all restaurants and the mall. The only disappointment was they didn't offer lunch and dinner available at the hotel restaurant on Saturday. So we had to eat somewhere else. But overall a very nice Hotel. '
