'My wife and I needed a couple of extra nights on Ocracoke and came upon this cottage. Though small, the property included all the amenities two people need, so long as one is not a gourmet chef. Unlike other much more expensive places we have rented on Ocracoke, the Internet was excellent. The ambience of the place was terrific. 'This cottage was awesome. It’s tucked away off back rd and was perfect for a mini vacation. The place is very clean and updated. The host was very responsive and gave some great recommendations for food and entertainment. We will absolutely be looking to stay here in the future. '

'Thanks for having us. There is beginning to be a slight mildew smell in the home and the floor is really uneven / coming up in several different spots. This could be a tripping hazard for a disabled or elderly person.'

'We enjoyed our stay on the house and island. We liked the ease of getting in and out of the water at the canal. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The screen doors tend to slam in a slight breeze unless they are latched. There were also a few cockroaches/bugs in the kitchen and bathroom. '
