'The facility was wonderful however the front desk staff was not. We were first told we did not have a room and then had to find someone to help her. Not professional at all! The pool was out of towels I asked the same front desk person for a towel she begrudgingly got one for me but added "we have a towel shortage". Front desk staff in need of customer service training both in behavior and appearance!'

'We travelled to Iowa for a weekend stay. All 4 of us loved the convenient location. Breakfast included was a big plus. Staff was great and hotel was clean'

'There were some stains on the wall and in the shower. The sliding door was broken (off its track) when we arrived. The towels were so scratchy. Not a bad place to stay for the price, but could definitely improve the facilities.'

'NOT A MARRIOTT EXPERIENCE!! The room unfortunately smelled like body odor, and the loveseat had stains on it and was gross. The pool and the hot tub were not available the entire four days that I was there. They also did not clean my room the day after I checked in.'

'My stay at this hotel was average. The rooms were okay and met the basic expectations for a comfortable stay. However, the property appears to need maintenance, as several areas look worn and somewhat neglected. The parking lot also seems poorly maintained, which does not create a great first impression. The breakfast buffet is quite limited compared to other hotels in the same category. In addition, the staff could be friendlier and more welcoming to guests. Overall, it is an acceptable place...

'We were first given keys to an occupied room. They upgraded our room for the inconvenience but I didn’t want a room with a jet tub. The sheets and pillow cases were stained. The breakfast was extremely limited, cold, and poor.'

'Our stay for one night was fine, but it's a rather tired hotel. You can just tell by little things like dirty hallways with old carpet, a wobbly toilet, and old furniture,that it's been around awhile.'

'I initially was put in a room that had a tub faucet that would not shut off once I turned it on there was no phone in the room couldn’t get the refrigerator door open, but they did switch me to another room and it was much better'

'It is in a fantastic location for families visiting ISU, we however had some yucky rooms with some maintenance issues. A toilet that kept us up all night as it continued to run, I also believe that because of that there was maybe a prior flooding issue as the corner near the TV had a damp rid box set up and the carpet was wet, the room also had a musty smell. We got in late and didn't feel like switching rooms so we just brought it to the front desks attention the next day. Our second room...
