'We spent two nights aboard the lovely houseboat, Orpheus. It was so fun! We enjoyed sitting on the little deck and raising a glass of wine to all the passing boats. 'This was an ideal place to stay in Amsterdam. It was super fun to stay on a houseboat, and this is a particularly nice houseboat. It has an ideal location, right at the edge of the city center--easy walking to everything but on a nice, quiet canal surrounded by beautiful buildings that seemed apart from the intensity of the most tourists districts, even though they were just a few minutes walk away.
