'We stayed just 2 nights but would happily stay much longer. Paul was an excellent host and gave us a tour of his cork forest and explained the process of harvesting cork. He also gave great recommendations for walks nearby. The pool is gorgeous and lovely to be woken by sheep grazing amongst the olive trees. Accommodations are traditional farmhouse - steeped in history. Kitchen had everything we needed. We will be back. '

'This was a unique experience for us -- staying on a cork farm. The setting was stunning - the views amazing and you will truly get an authentic Alentejo experience. Note that is it not close to Evora, so keep that in mind. That said, I don't know that we've ever met a kinder and more welcoming host. 'De woning zelf voldeed prima,en was leuk ingericht. De foto,s laten maar 1 binnenplaatsje zien,maar het mooiste en grootste niet,en dit is juist heel leuk v.w de omliggende kasteelmuren en toren. Het straatje waarin de woning ligt,is alleen van 2 kanten in te rijden door hele oude stadspoorten,ligt dus echt in de oude kern. Het huis zal ,s zomers heerlijk koel zijn,maar in maart was het ondanks de 4 elektrische kacheltjes niet warm te krijgen,Bij binnenkomst lag er een plas water in de keuken...
