'The home was very clean. We had everything we needed for a weekend away. The owner answered us quickly when we had a question about the door lock. The stairs are quite steep but there is a handrail on both sides which is helpful for older people. There is a tv in the upstairs bedroom which wasn’t mentioned and a cozy chair. We arrived very late and there was no lights on the outside which made it hard to find our way in. There was a Keurig in the kitchen with creamer. A welcomed morning...

'My wife and I were looking for a place to stay that we could enjoy while were exploring several small towns in south central Michigan. The tinyhouse was perfectly located for that and also provided us with great amenities.It was cute, very clean and comfortable / cozy. 'This VRBO was very clean and inside a lovely, self-built home. We had no complaints, however, the listing could have been clearer that the owner and family live in the other half of the house and have access to walk into the renter's half of the house at any point. The owner was very friendly and accommodating to a large group. The house has lots of wildlife, which offers a relaxing stay in the woods. '

'This was a wonderful, well-equipped property. We loved being able to walk over to the river walk to see the rowing teams practicing. The guidebook that the property owner put together was very helpful in identifying places to eat and visit. I highly recommend a visit to old town. We were fortunate enough to catch the blues festival while we were there. We will definitely visit Lansing again!'

'Great comfy and cozy home in a peaceful neighborhood. Home had everything we needed plus more than expected. Nice private yard out back. '

'We were in town for the MSU Parent's Weekend. The condo is absolutely beautiful (may have to steal the 1/2 bath glass sink and cool pump faucet idea!) and very comfortable. We loved the 2 balconies to see the gorgeous day and night city views. Biggby coffee shop is on the ground level, and the property is a block or so by the best restaurant in the city (my opinion), Bowdie's! Thank you so much for a fantastic stay!'

'Well appointed getaway in the heart of mid-Michigan farm country. This was our second visit, and we loved it just as much (if not more, if that's possible) this time! My best friend was married in the owners' barn two years ago, when we stayed, so this trip was a lot more relaxed and we got to appreciate the beautiful rural surroundings more. Sat on the porch, used the fire pit,. The cottage has a loft and a bedroom you enter through the loft, so if sharing between two couples, be good...

'Very nicely done basement in home.Top of line Bose home theater system, and tv equipment. Fun games, nice sauna,hot tub was very relaxing. Furniture was nice, and i would absolutely stay here again.Very clean and comfortable. '

'My new in-law family stayed here to be in town for our wedding. They enjoyed the house and the property. Wonderful kitchen! We really loved the outdoor spaces! The pets were happy as well. While we didn't realize the two upstairs rooms would have little privacy from each other, the situation worked for our group. We will use this home again in future for family get-togethers.'

'Shelly’s Chalet was the perfect stay for our large group. It truly came with everything in mind, not to mention clean and just so beautiful! Inside AND out. We didn’t even get to use the lake due to chilly weather and I’m still that excited about this place! Shelly was amazing at getting back to us in a timely and friendly manner. There was so much room for people to either spread out or to group together! I really can’t recommend this place enough!! Thank you Shelly! '

'Large house with plenty of space for 4 school aged kids, a 1yr old, and 6 adults. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of pillows and fans in every room. Our kids loved the basement/playroom. We kayaked and swam off the dock everyday. A great family vacation home!!!'
