'We have stayed several times in the UP and this was our favorite property. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we saw several deer walking around and an old sweet black lab that walks around the block. Host is always available and you can communicate with him at any time. The internet is very good for any remote workers or gamers, you will be just fine. 'Everything was pretty much as presented in the description. The owner kept in communication with me, asking if I needed anything. It’s an older home, but she has kept it up and it had everything you needed. We went there to snowmobile, unfortunately for the first time in decades, there was no snow. The only issue is the location is on the highway, and even though it is in town, log trucks rolled through all night, if you’re a light sleeper it could be a problem. 'Three of us adults, had stayed at Erin's property 3/1/24-3/4/24. It was more than we expected. Even thou we were there for the "Lost Winter" the location is perfect. 'Super warm and cozy! Very accurate listing, bathroom was very clean, loved the coffee bar and that you provide jams and other items we didn’t want to bring up with us. Neighborhood is quite and felt safe even though it’s older. House is close to the porcupine mountains park and lots of deer everywhere! Will stay here again in the summer! 'We had a great time! The house was lovely! We’d have loved some more storage (there weren’t any hangers or shelves/dressers. We also would have loved a pantry space to put our food for the week. 'Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed hiking the Porkies, drove to Houghton for a day trip (very cool town), and looked for yooperlites at the beach (1/2 mile down the road). The cabin was clean and a welcoming place to come back to at the end of each day and Deb was a great host and very responsive and made great suggestions for activities in the area. 'Excellent stay at Northwinds Adventure at the "Love Palace"...Plenty of room for the family to relax and hang out, play games, etc...Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals...wifi worked great...plenty of towels in the bathrooms...fireplace was a bonus, too cold to spend time outside, so I cannot speak to lake/beach amenities, about a 10 minute drive to MTU...overall great stay, would recommend, would stay again. 'It is a cute, clean house, close to where I was working. I have a problem with Evolve assessing an insurance damage fee as line-item cost on the bill. By the time I saw it, I had already submitted my request and would face a penalty for cancelling. I will not be using a VRBO with this company again.'
