I will start with the positives…the unit has a great location, parking was convenient and easy, check in was easy, and the Phoenix VI building overall is great - lots of amenities and well cared for. If those features are all that is needed, then I would recommend this (or any) unit within Ph VI!If you are more particular about cleanliness and overall care/maintenance in the unit you’re spending your money on, then this is the unit to skip. Some of the serious issues were, what I suspect, was black mold on at least one air vent in the living room. The host said maintenance claimed it was just dirty and cleaned it. However, I disagree. The shower door and caulk around the door were either moldy or filthy, with lots of black build up inside and around the shower door. There were water spots on the ceiling of the bedroom, which is another reason I believe there was mold more so than dirt in some of the areas I listed. Less serious but disappointing other issues include several light bulbs out or flickering, outlets that either didn’t work or only partially worked, trim falling off the walls, many nail holes or nails left behind from “redecorating” and the floor left our feet black after walking on it. Some other things that were just annoyance were a partial roll of toilet paper in each bathroom is the only toilet paper provided and no extra sheets or pillowcases. If these issues are important tonyou, this unit is NOT the one to spend your money on.
