'The Yearling will always have a very special place in my heart. It is old Florida charm at its finest. The cabins are not 5-star accommodations, but rather exactly what you would expect to find located on Cross Creek between Lake Orange and Lake Lochloosa. They are clean, comfortable and offer an excellent view of the creek. The neighborhood peacocks call to each other while birds and other wildlife occasionally travel by. My husband and I have stayed three times so far and would love to go back...

'We truly enjoyed our stay in this log cabin. It is much more then we ever expected. Clean and cozy, comfortable with details. Kitchen had everything we needed, beds are comfortable, gas grill and charcoal grill outside on a porch. Fresh eggs was just heavenly delicious. Thank you Dayne for your hospitality and for taking great care of this beautiful house and surrounding. We are Family of 5 plus mom and my sister's family. We stayed comfortably for 4 night. Thank you again. We will be back soon.'

'Clean, spacious, host was communicative and kept us in the loop as we unfortunately were without WiFi our whole stay due to a cut wire in the neighborhood. House was clean. Backyard is fenced in. Unfortunately there aren’t a ton of amenities (no extra towels, sheets, the couch was not actually a fouton but was a very comfy couch none the less) - overall I would love to stay here again. Just bring exrra towels or sheets if you’re using more than the two beds, and I would also maybe suggest...

'We had a great type staying the very adorable tiny house! It was well decorated (maybe too well) and the host was extremely responsive and helpful. We had never used a composting toilet before - so that what was our least favorite part. Everything else was top notch. We all found sleeping in the lofts to be very cozy and comforting. We had everything we needed to store food and make meals, a nice TV, and a shower. Excellent stay!'

'My fiance and I, along with one of our friends stayed here for Gatornationals and cannot say enough good about this place! Don’t let its size fool you, everything is high quality! The top bed was super-comfy and the linens were amazing. Like, softer and nicer than some high-end hotels. Our very tall, large friend slept on the sofa-converted-to-bed and said it was very comfortable; something he didn’t expect at all given it wasn’t a “true” bed. Honestly, we’ll take this place over a hotel ANY...

'This cabin is so beautiful and had all that we needed ! It wasn’t too far from stores . It was clean and had towels and even had shampoo and conditioner and soap if you forgot yours. The two fridges were nice to have also . I would definitely recommend staying here and if we plan a Trip next year we will definitely be staying here ! '
