Amazing property
My family and I stay at this property for a four day family vacation which was amazing! The place was immaculate and very family friendly.We had the time of our lives and I received many compliments from my family for choosing this property. The game room and pool was great. We had no troubles finding the home and loved that it was close to all the attractions and places like walmart and publix. Additionally the Check-in process was a breeze. I honestly have no complaints. The whole experience was a 10 out of 10!!!

Disney Family Vacation
We had a group of 10 ranging from 1-50 of age and we all had a great time the house was amazing and the playroom was a life saver for the kids. The pool is pretty and was perfect temp and the community is beautiful, the waterpark and playground in walking distance and the clubhouse has a few groceries and food/drinks on the go. Only a quick drive to Disney or Disney springs, or about a half hour from the sea life aquarium where we spent one day. Perfect location and big rooms/bathrooms.

Excellent!
Just returned from a wonderful Disney vacation. This is the 1st time staying offsite, but will not be the last. Story-time at Windsor Hills was amazing and working with the host couldn't have been better. On our days off, we enjoyed the on site water park, which was very impressive and clean. The location to all Disney parks was perfect, and Walmart just a few blocks away. We will definitely stay there again. John & Family

Absolutely magical!!
Staying at Story Time rentals was the best decision we made for our family vacation!! The kids were absolutely in awe of the themed decor all around the house. It truly made the experience for them so magical! The house was extremely clean and very well taken care of. We were so close to Disney and loved all the amenities such as the pool. The owners were very helpful and friendly and it was very easy to communicate with them! We are already planning our trip back and our family can’t wait to come back to Story Time!

Overall we were underwhelmed with the property especially based on previous reviews and description of the home. We found that the unit had the following maintenance issues that could have easily been rectified prior to our arrival; - a screen door on lanai was inoperative; - toaster that was only 50% working (2 slots) - not great for a family of 11; - one chair in particular that was very uncomfortable to use as seat spring was wonky (not what I would consider “high end furnishings”; - foosball table in playroom is not functional ( needs to be replaced or removed) We also had periodic issues with cockroaches during our stay and to cap it off on the final night our grand-daughters could hear something scurrying around in the attic. They were totally freaked out and had to switch rooms in the middle of the night. We suspect it was a rodent of some description. Upon checking out a maintenance crew showed up to do home repairs which we were told specifically that it was to repair a hole in the front of the house where presumably the attic guest entered. Some of descriptions on listing are exaggerated (ie: distance to the theme parks (normally a 20 minute drive) and it lists a spa at the property - there is no hot tub at unit only at community pool. We have communicated with owner on the VRBO site earlier with our concerns but have yet to hear back. Overall a bit of a lunch bag let down. We feel as though a refund of some sort is warranted.

Hello Valerie, We would like to take this opportunity to respond to the untrue claims made in this review. As a small family-owned business, it is sad to see people leave false reviews in an attempt to receive some sort of compensation, as you yourself even reveal as your motive in your last line. Firstly, there is no attic in the house. It is therefore impossible to have heard any noise in the attic since it doesn’t even exist. Secondly, we pride ourselves in our commitment to keep the house extremely clean. Since the house is in Florida, there are insects that can fly into the house when doors are left open. This is outside of our control. We also would like to point out that none of these so-called “concerns” were communicated to us during the actual stay. Once again, we are so grateful to provide a magical stay for all of our guests and are saddened to see people try to take advantage of a small-business by leaving false reviews and demand compensation in exchange for taking down their false review.

Big Family Disney Trip
Our family of 12 (grandparents, siblings, and kids ages 0-15) rented this for a week while we enjoyed Disney and Universal and loved it! The space was clean and the owners were very responsive to questions we had during the week and resolved a few items within 24 hours—we were impressed! The kids loved using the pool on our days “off”—it was a little chilly the week we were there (January 27-February 4), so we were glad to have added the pool heat to our reservation. Nice big space to accommodate everyone and give individual families their privacy and good sleep. The nearby Walmart was also handy. This was our first time staying off Disney property, and all agreed it was worth it! Much more economical, as we packed lunches and only paid for the food we really wanted in the parks. The cost of a VRBO was less than half of what it would have cost us to book and stay at a Disney resort, plus everyone had extra space to move and play—especially helpful for families with littles under age 5. We would rent again!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this Disney themed home! We had a large family group and we had plenty of space. The kiddos thoroughly enjoyed the playroom and the bedroom themes. We paid for the pool to be heated but we were too busy to use it. Travel to and from the parks was fairly easy and quick. Thanks so much!

The house was perfect. The play room was a hit with the kids ages from 1-9 years old. Plenty of room for our group of 12. Check in was super easy. The workers were super helpful at the welcome center. Club house was so much fun. It was a little too cold for the pool.

I enjoyed our stay at this residence. Our family of four travelled with our friends and their two children. All of the kids enjoyed the games room/play house. We swam in the pool almost every night and the kitchen was great to prepare meals with all the necessary utensils and dishes one could need. The house was clean and comfortable. Superb location
Great location for the Disney parks. Walmart is a little over a mile down the road and has many Disney related products much cheaper than at the parks. The house is exactly as pictured. I would stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends and family. Water slides and super sized pool were enjoyed by all in our group.

This vacation home was perfect for a group of three families visiting Walt Disney World. The parks are less than 15 minutes drive away. The home is spacious and very well equipped for families and children. Communication with the owner was excellent, as well as simple check in/out instructions. A short drive to Walmart, as well as easy delivery from Publix and takeout restaurants.

Absolutely magical!!
This home was the absolute perfect home for my family vacation! My family and I couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay here. The home was very clean and beautifully decorated. The location was unbelievably close to Disney as well. The kids went nuts for the themed rooms and they wouldn’t stop saying how they want their rooms at home to be the same. They loved playing in the game room and the pool when we weren’t at the parks. The furniture and beds were all super comfortable and the house was the perfect space for a large group. The gated community was also a great feature and everyone loved the resort amenities. The hosts were also very helpful and would answer any questions right away. We already are planning to return again to this home for our next vacation!! Highly recommend!!

Truly Exceeded Expectations!!
I wanted to share our wonderful experience at Story Time after our recent family trip to Disney World. The location (just 2 miles from Disney!) was incredibly convenient and made our days at the theme parks even more enjoyable. The standout feature was definitely how clean and welcoming the house was when we arrived. The Disney-themed decor definitely added that extra touch of magic to our stay. The kids loved playing in the game room while the adults relaxed. What made our experience even better was the host's responsiveness and friendliness throughout our stay. They were quick to answer our questions and made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. It's those personal touches that make a real difference. The whole rental process was very smooth. The amenities, like the fast Wi-Fi for the kids and the fully equipped kitchen, made life so much easier. Also, there was also something to do at the resort from the water park to the game room. I highly recommend this property for families looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped vacation home near Disney World. The host's dedication to making our stay special was evident in every detail. This home was truly the perfect place for our Disney family vacation – we highly recommend!

Cockroaches Were The Icing On The Cake
We were very excited to stay at this property. The pictures on the listing looked amazing. Please don’t be fooled like we were. I took pictures of my own, but can't post here:( Pros: Close in proximity to Disney properties Big community kids friendly pool Cons: *Dirty house ->floors, doors, and cabinets were all dirty. Found a pill on the floor, used Q-tips left in the shower along with other items throughout. *Broken, uncomfy furniture ->The chairs had wobbly legs, were missing cushion support and were falling apart. The coffee table was bowed in the middle. They appeared to be picked up from the side of the road. *Flooded 1st floor bedroom after hard rain ->The closet floor in the 1st floor bedroom was soaked along with all of our luggage. *3 inch cockroach in bathroom ->we also saw a few scatter in the playroom *Unsafe slide ->The slide is bolted to a wooden box that is stacked on another because the slide is not long enough to reach the floor *Not kept up ->Broken light switches, old, peeling decorations, no light bulbs in fixtures, clocks with dead batteries, wallpaper torn off wall, peeled stickers all over *Suits smelled like sewage after swimming in the house pool *Laundry room ->Washer gets very loud when draining and moves all across the floor, has poor ventilation making room humid and a wet, slick floor *The key pad number 0 falls out making entering the code almost impossible to enter if lost *Check-in took 45+ minutes in a single car lane

Hello, We would like the opportunity to address the untrue claims in this review. We were not contacted once throughout their entire stay about any of these claims. Since the happiness of our guests is our utmost priority, we pride ourselves in our commitment to immediately addressing and correcting any concerns. It is unfair to not have let us known to have let us correct anything. Unfortunately, guests do leave unfair reviews of small family businesses in order to try to get a full refund and get a free vacation for 10 guests for a week. We have been providing guests with magical experiences at our homes for 10+ years with many amazing reviews to show for it. It hurts us to see that there are those who are looking to taking advantage, but we will continue to make sure every family who stays in our home has a magical stay.

The house was very accommodating to our families needs. Very close to everything with easy access to and from the resort. The stairs in the house are pretty steep for the little ones but there was a baby gate that helped with that. We had a very memorable stay and would definitely do it again!

We stayed as a group of 9. Senior citizens, 30 year olds, kids and toddler. House was perfect easy drive to all disney parks. Floor level has a bedroom for those that struggle with stairs. I suggest purchasing heat for the pool. Washer gets very loud at end of cycle was only small issue dont let it startle you. 1 block walk to a park for.kids, and a 5 minute walk to the resort pool. Highly recommended and at a great price.

Love this Disney House!
My daughter and I stayed here and loved it. There are so many Disney details in the home. It is very beautiful and comfortable. We had everything we could possibly need. Nice neighborhood, pool at home and at the clubhouse which was a nice bonus. I wish I cooked more because the kitchen has everything you need. Can’t think of one thing I would change. Great place and has room for a lot of people.

Our large family really enjoyed our stay at Windsor Hills. We arrived late and were worried about checking in, but the attendant at the entrance was very helpful. We got to our house and inside with no issue. The house is very spacious and comfortable. We did pay to heat the pool and it was so worth it. We also enjoyed the amenities that are included within Windsor Hills (water park, playground, etc.) Check out was also extremely simple which was very appreciated when traveling with a big group and lots of kids. Communication with the owners was prompt and helpful. We would definitely recommend this property!

This was a 6 bedroom home with excellent character. The home was was very clean and provided a positive first impression when first walking through the door. Each room has a special charm creatively implemented. The adults loved the open and well furnished living areas, the kids enjoyed Disney themed bedrooms and especially the large game and play room. The pool was heated and larger than we expected. A highlight of the home was the community water park which is within walking distance. The entire family enjoyed spending park off days on the waterslide or in the spacious pool. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Great Stay Near Disney
House was great for fa.ilies with kids or adults that are young at heart. My kids hardly wanted to get out of the pool. The resort facilities were top notch, great community pool with really fun water slides. Some of the community staff were rude to my wife but that doesn't reflect on our overall experience. Very close to Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs. Very close to lots of dinning options and other fun things to do. Close to an excellent walmart for supplies. Would highly recommend, and stay there again.

Perfect place for a family for Disney!
When my husband and I arrived before the rest of our family, I was so excited and couldn't wait for them to see it! It was exactly as pictured. Every detail was thoughtful and well done. It was a short drive every day to Disney. We didn't have a lot of time to enjoy the pool but the night that we did we loved it. My grandchildren loved the play room (ages 1-6). My 2 year old princesses were so excited to see their room and the boys chose the Cars themed room over the Mickey room but they were both great. The house had everything that we needed. I would stay here again.

Great place for family to stay but not sure worth it
We were taking a family group trip to Disney and thought it would be fun to all stay together in a house versus staying on Disney property. I would not do that again. You loose out on a ton of Disney perks by not staying on property. Plus it took a long time to get to the parks. We also paid extra (for heat) so the kids could use the pool and us adults could use the "hot tub". It took us 4 days back and forth with the owner to get the spa to turn. Another negative is, by the time we got home from the parks, the "heat" was already shut off for the day. The owner has the heat to work from 8-8. Many nights we would not get home from the parks/eat dinner in time to enjoy it. We never did get to use the spa. I wish the time deadline ran a little later. The kids only used the pool one day and said it was cold so it was a waste of extra money. On the positive side, the kids and even big kids loved the play room. Lots of games and activities to keep them busy when we were at the house. We were rained in one day so it was useful then. There is a lot of cute Disney decor and room for the family. If you have a large family wanting to stay together, and don't mind the other cons, this house suites the need.

We stayed here and commuted to Disney, it was perfect! Kids loved the playroom and themed bedrooms. The community center splash pad was great too. I would definitely pay to heat the home’s pool if it will be in the low 80’s during your stay. Greatly stocked kitchen for cooking and a lot of towels (including beach).

From the moment we pulled in, everything was perfect. Check in was quick and easy. Then, the house!! The pictures don’t lie. It has everything. My 5 year old grandson said it was perfect and awesome. Plenty of room for everyone. The pool at the house was really nice and the pool and water park at the clubhouse were great. We went to Disney 3 days and it was so very close to get to. The owner was great to deal with. My texts were answered almost immediately. If you are trying to do Disney on a budget with a large group or family, you need to stay at this house. It’s wonderful, priced very well, and you will be able to spend your money doing things at Disney. It’s worth every dollar.

Awesome Disney family vacation! Communication with Elias was easy and he responded promptly to any of my questions. The house was clean and my grandkids absolutely loved the playroom. The house was huge and had plenty of room to spread out and the pool and patio area were lovely after a long day in Disney. The house was beautifully furnished with a lot of Disney decorations. All of the furniture was very comfortable. My grandkids (ages 6 to 10) are already asking when we can return! Thanks for a wonderful stay! We will be back!
