We decided to book this hotel after we stayed here in 2013 and lived it. It definitely wasn’t the same this time. The resort lobby and grounds are nice and but also very old and dated. The bathrooms still have old tubs and shower curtains and the rooms & furniture are old/dated. Nothings changed. Our toilet wasn’t flushing properly, the sink wasn’t draining well.
Our biggest disappointment was the pool area. It was the reason we chose to come here. It was so busy when we arrived at 3pm that there were no loungers left to use that weren’t littered with used towels, leftover food, cups and dirty dishes. It was gross. We tried th adults pool but it was full. There were kids all over the place and the Lazy river was filthy. I never saw one server so we went to the bar to order drinks and food. The quality of drinks were sub par and the chicken tenders and fries were cold, soggy and had terrible presentation. We tired to dine at Trevi’s Italian but tj vibe there was loud, open, buffet style so we asked to go outside and they put us at a random table near the bar and where people were smoking and told us they don’t have enough servers. We left a tried to find something nicer nearby but there are not many options for nice dining in the area. To think we chose to return here 13 yrs later and had this experience is very disappointing. Considering this is an Omni property, we definitely had higher expectations.
